About Me:

First, I would like to tell you the top three things I am most proud of. I have three children, Adrienna, Bobby and Kristina. The two oldest are recent college graduates (University of Vermont & IUP) and the youngest is a junior at PSU.
I am in my second year as Loyalsock Township Middle School Principal. I attended Boiling Springs Junior High School and graduated from Crestwood High School. Upon graduation I headed to Wilkes University where I earned my degree in Art Education and also minored in Journalism. I received my Master's Degree and Principal's Certificate through Wilkes University and currently, I am enrolled in the Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility Program at Edinboro University.
I am also a member of the Wilkes University Adjunct Faculty, teaching in the Educational Leadership Program.
After attaining my undergraduate degree I became a teacher at my Alma Mater (Crestwood) for over 20 years, also advising several clubs and coaching a host of sports. I taught, Art, Graphic Arts and Gifted while at Crestwood.
Most of my coaching experiences were enjoyed in the sports of wrestling, baseball and football. Most of my advising went to the senior class, newspaper, yearbook, art club and photography club.
I was also Director of Community Relations, Student Activities and Athletics. Following the 2005-06 school year I landed a position as Director of Student Activities and Athletics at Big Spring, in South Central Pa.
After two and one-half years I was motivated to put my Principal's Certificate to good use and became Principal at Millersburg High School.
While the high school experiences were rewarding I am thrilled to be working with middle school students at this crucial stage in their lives.
I continue to look forward to challenging, and helping everyone reach their potential as young ladies and gentlemen at Loyalsock Middle School.
